Today I hosted Yuma's 2013 Veterans Day Parade!

It was an honor to host Yuma's 2013 Veterans Day Parade this morning. It was the least I could do for these great men and women that served our country in the armed forces and fought to keep us free! I met some great people out there like Veteran Mike Jones! I look forward to doing it again next year.

This morning I learned that I have been selected to be the main announcer at Yuma's 2013 Veterans Day Parade. I am honored that they chose me to be a part of such a great event that honors those that have fought for our country.

I am no long affiliated with Derailed Saloon in any way, shape or form and I have not been so for over a month now. Volunteer Day at The Food Bank

I gotta say it felt great to volunteer today at The Yuma Community Food Bank. After we got done working, they gave us a tour and I was shocked to see how empty the freezers where and how low they were on thing likes milk and eggs. They said it is on a first come first serve basis and it was sad to see that they were out. It was most definitely an eye opening experience and I am very grateful for what they do for our community.

I'm on TV...

I was given the opportunity to fill in for Jay Walker on KYMA NBC Channel 11's newest segment called "What's Trending" this past Friday morning. The pannel always consists of local figures in the Yuma community and I was very grateful when I was asked to fill in for Jay while he was out of town. I guess I did an ok job, because I was asked to come back again this week and fill in for Martha Guzman.
